About us

A trade built on trust

JM Detailing grew out of the trust that colleagues and former customers placed in Jean’s work. The quality and care given to every vehicle brought recommendations and a client base of his own.

When Jean left his previous job, those customers kept asking for his services, and JM Detailing was born. Jean looks after every vehicle personally, from the first assessment to handover.

Every vehicle is assessed by size, condition and the result you want.

Exterior maintenance

Maintenance exterior wash to keep the car clean and well looked after.

Interior cleaning

Basic or deep cleaning, upholstery, leather, odour removal and pet hair.

Polishing and paint correction

One-stage polish to bring back gloss, or deeper correction after we assess the paint.

Ceramic coating

Protection and gloss for the paint. Photos or an assessment are needed to set the prep, the product and the expected result.

PPF

Clear or matte paint protection film; colour to order. Front or full coverage, subject to Jean’s assessment.

Headlights, wheels and engine bay

Headlight restoration, wheel cleaning and protection, and engine bay cleaning.

Condition, size and the needs of the vehicle change the quote. Jean confirms the final amount and availability before you book.

Clear and matte PPF; colour to order. Coverage can be front only or full, depending on what the vehicle needs.

The material, the final price, the date and the applicable warranty are confirmed in writing after we assess the vehicle.

A service for dealers, workshops and motor trade professionals. We build a proposal around volume, the average condition of the vehicles, the delivery window and the finish level.

We can start with one pilot vehicle before we agree a recurring arrangement.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost?

The price depends on the service, the size and the condition of the vehicle. Tell us the model and the service, and send photos so we can prepare a first estimate.

Why do you need photos?

Because the real condition changes the time, the products and the level of correction needed. This way we avoid quoting you the wrong price.

Do you work by appointment?

Yes. Paco takes the request and Jean personally confirms availability and the date.

Do you work at the customer’s address?

No. The work is done at the workshop. Collection in Vélez-Málaga can be discussed and depends on availability and confirmation.

Where is the workshop?

We are at Avenida Andalucía, s/n, Parking La Maroma, Canillas de Aceituno. You can open the exact location in Google Maps.

Polishing or ceramic coating?

Polishing corrects or improves paint defects; the ceramic coating protects. In many cases they are combined once we assess the condition.

Does polishing remove every scratch?

That cannot be guaranteed without assessing the depth and the condition. We aim for the best possible improvement without putting the paint at risk.

Which PPF do you offer?

Clear and matte PPF; colour to order. Jean confirms coverage, material, price, timescale and warranty after assessing the vehicle.
